Research Assistant Behavioural Ecology Group

Jori Noordenbos

I am an animal scientist with a strong interest in animal cognition, animal personality, domestication processes and the human - pet bond. I have primarily worked on aspects of theory of mind in dogs, but have worked with cats, pigs, rabbits, horses and fish as well.

I am currently working as a research assistant and a PhD student at the Behavioural Ecology group, where I am involved in teaching and research, mainly with companion animals and guppies. My PhD project is about dog social cognition, mainly dogs' understanding of human knowledge. If you are interested in working on this subject - or on another topic working with dog or cat behaviour/personality - you can send me or Bonne Beerda an email!
